Vetri-Science Laboratories® Hairball Cat Chews 60 Count

Hairball is a breakthrough formula to support skin tone, elasticity and hair health. Hairball focuses on factors in cats such as healthy skin, GI tract and urinary tract health issues. Cats love these delicious chicken liver flavored chews. For animal use only. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately. Store in a cool, dry place. About the formula: Lecithin supports nail, hair and skin health as well as skin hydration and resiliency. Healthy skin directly influences how well the hair will grow, function and shed. Deficiencies of Lecithin can lead to loss of skin elasticity, dryness, scaliness, increased fur matting, discoloration of hair, lack of hair re-growth and increased shedding. Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids along with lecithin have been added to support skin hydration, resiliency and hair health. These fatty acids not only provide fats for skin and coat condition, but they also support the GI tract. Biotin is needed for healthy hair and skin. Zinc is involved in keratin and collagen production, which are important for hair and skin health. It also helps maintain healthy skin tissue and hair follicles, and is required for fatty acid metabolism. Zinc is required for fatty acid metabolism. Cranberry powder supports the urinary tract. Psyllium is a soluble fiber that supports GI tract health and function.

My old girl kitty started having loose stool tinged with mucus and blood. The vet gave me two IBS medicines for her, one 5cc's and the other 1cc. That is a LOT of liguid to give an unwilling kitty, and it would end up everywhere but in her mouth!! I was already giving her VetriScience GlycoFlex Hip and Joint Supplement, so I decided to try these chews. My very picky girl actually eats them, and it has helped her have normal bowel movements again!!

And he's Mr. Picky Pants when it comes to treats most days. He thinks these little things are the bomb & will eat them down with gusto! Since he's a long-haired cat, I wanted to find something that could assist with the hairball issue that he has. And so far, this has seemed to do the job. There have been far fewer instances of my cat vomiting up hairballs and I for one, am grateful. I'll keep buying this, for as long as he likes it & it works. Good job

My cat likes this 'treat' that seems to help with her hairballs. Good brand.

Kitties like them and I haven’t seen a hair all, less vomit in general

These are too hard. I use marshmallows in the container in which I keep them. This softens them a bit - enough where I can get cat to eat them - if I break them up.

My cat hates the taste and won't eat it even if she's hungry. Not sure if it works or not

Not soft chew at all, I have to cut into smaller piece for my cat to chew.

M

My cats are picky eaters. Neither one of them would eat the snacks.

I definitely can’t tell you why. If only she spoke up.
