My older cat loves these. Goes right for them.
Lysine was recommended by my vet for my cat's feline herpes virus. I tried powder but he didn't like it. He eats these with no problem.
It smells like soy sauce, but cats loves it.Since my cats are never sick, so I assumed it works for them.Or maybe they are just strong. My babies has been eating this since young. They are having 2-3 months breaks every time when they finished one pack.No diarrhea or bald patches. So far, so good.
I tried various lysine gels and powders but the cat did not accept them well (although another one had accepted the gel). But the cat in question actually looks forward to this like a treat. My other cats have a take it or leave it attitude (and they don't need it anyway), so apparently you may have to try different flavors etc that appeals to your particular cat. The other thing is that I can be precise in my dosage compared to the free-for-all and hope-for-the-best feeding of gels and powders in multi-cat households.
My finicky cat, Moby, absolutely loves these vitamins. I was so afraid that he would turn up his nose at these morsels but shockingly, he devoured them and was ready for more! Great product!
We got a kitten over the summer that had a upper respiratory infection and spread it to my elderly cat. I got these along with the powder to put in their food. It has helped tremendously! If I ever skipped a day or two you noticed immediately. Antibiotics didn’t really help, but these DID!! I give them to my cats regularly and if we ever stop so do the sniffles.
I bought these for my cat who has mild feline herpes. He wouldn't eat his food I tried mixing lysine powder in so tried these. He loves the taste of these, I break the treat into a few pieces so it's easier to eat and it doesn't crumble when you break it like other treats can. This is a vet recommend brand too.
My two cats really enjoy the bits. They enjoy them as treats😻😺yum
The pkgs. need to be kept sealed so that they will stay fresh. Also, if the pkgs. become too old the product may become rancid. The expiration date is important. I chop up the fish shaped nuggets into three or four pieces so that they can be eaten more easily.
Our cat loves these. They keep him frisky :)
