MY CAT IS A SENIOR. HE WAS GETTING OTHER LITTERS, STUCK IN BETWEEN HIS CLAWS, AND BECAME HARD. THIS CAUSED BLEEDING ON SOME OF HIS PAWS. HE DOESN'T LIKE HIS PAWS TOUCHED, SO IT WAS DIFFICULT TO CLEAN IT OUT. A PET STORE RECOMMENDED, HINOKI, IT'S WOOD PELLETS, MADE WITH GREEN TEA, ALL NATURAL. IT DOESN'T GET STUCK, IS SOFT, ABSORBANT, AND SMELLS GOOD. IT'S A BIT EXPENSIVE, BUT WORTH THE PRICE. IT'S EASY TO CLEAN. YOU NEED TO BUY A SCOOP, THAT HAS BIGGER SPACE, FOR THIS LITTER TO SIFT THROUGH. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH IT .
This stuff is amazing! My little meezer is a stinky little girl, makes the most awful smelling poop and she doesn’t cover it. We’ve tried other scoop away brands and it does no good, smells up the whole room where we watch tv (a spare bedroom) from the closet where the pan is. But this stuff was a game changer from day one. Of course we started with a clean pan—I use the plastic sifter underneath —and filled it about 1/2 way as we always do, and she jumped right in. No smell from the first poop, which I don’t know when it was since I never smelled it—and no, I’m not a daily scooper. It’s been three days, the time I normally sift, and there was no odor even getting up right over the pan. She was spayed recently so I don’t know if she had diarrhea or it’s the breakdown of the product with liquid but there was loose matter somewhat hard to scoop and some stuck to the bottom which may impede sifting. But it didn’t stink so I don’t care! (I went ahead and just scooped instead of sifting since it didn’t stink to do so.)Will update at another time when I see how it does for the month. So far I’m impressed. If it lasts a whole month for one cat—I have another cat that is outdoor but she sneaks in here sometimes—it isn’t more expensive than other premium litters.
i love this cat litter. i never thought i'd say that about a cat litter! but the smell, omg. i have 2 new kittens and i have 2 litter boxes for them in my room. i thought it would be bad but i love the way my room smells now! i previously bought a 40 lb bag of pine pellet litter from tractor supply, after extensive research about litter. i got this litter because this is the litter used by the person i got my kittens from, so i was going to transition. the pellets of this litter are much smaller than the pine pellet litter, and i like the smell better. but of course there is a huge price difference. i will slowly transition to the pine pellet litter (if they let me), but i will enjoy this while it lasts. i find that it does cover smells -i can smell the poop initially but then it fades, and no urine smell. it does track outside the box about 1-2 feet, but i'm so happy that the kittens are actually using the litter box that i don't mind cleaning it up. ;) hopefully they will adjust to the pine pellet litter, will see.
Love this. Makes it so much easier to scoop. Minimal smell. NO dust so no asthma trigger either!
This is the best cat litter I’ve ever used, and I have had a 3-cat household for decades. Although it seems pricey, this 1 bag lasts a month for 1 cat. I love that it is unscented, lightweight, all natural, cleaner and with low dust—unlike clay litters. My cat had no trouble transitioning to it from clay. I hope it is always available.
Great product. Non toxic and masks the smells.
No powered, no odor and working great. Also light weight, easy to clean and change.
I love this stuff and so does my cat! I took a risk and just switched out the litter with no transition period and my cat didn’t care. I find it clumps as well as any other. I love that it is so light and that it is eco friendly. I’ve been using this for a few months now and I’ve not once walked by the bathroom where the litter box is and smelled that awful dirty litter smell.
The best kitty litter I've found! Its important to me to use a natural brand for my little one, and I hate scented kitty litters (no matter how many "deodorizing crystals" they put in, it always just smells like litter cover-up smell, am i right?!)Cleaning the box is super easy with this brand. It clumps great and flushes easily without messing with the plumbing (the litter breaks down and dissolves so fast in water.) When I do a full litter box cleanup/scrub, I dump it all in the backyard and it breaks down entirely in a day or two. This litter is scent-free. I have gotten multiple comments from house guests that they could not smell a litter box or any other "cat smells" in our home, and the litter box is kept in our main bathroom. I am very familiar with that distinct smell that most cat homes have, and am pleased that my guests say it is absent in our home, especially with the litter box being so centrally located.I love how waste-free (flushable and biodegradable!), easy, odorless, and effective this litter is and we will never go back!
The best 👌
